Krabbelnde Intelligenzen, Insekten, die auf das Licht reagieren… Das hat bereits die Natur erschaffen. Aber wir können das auch!
In dem zweitägigen Workshop bauten wir unsere eigenen B.E.A.M.-(Biologie-Elektronik-Aesthetik-Mechanik)-Roboter-Käfer – aus Bauteilen wie Zahnbürstenköpfe, ehemalige Handy-EVibrationsmotoren, alte Computermäusen etc.! Wir statteten die Roboter mit besonderen Fähigkeiten aus, gaben ihnen ein eigenes Erscheinungsbild und ließen sie in der BUG’S BATTLE ARENA gegen die anderen Robots antreten. Schaut selbst!

Construction of B.E.A.M.-robots

Crawling beings, insects responding to light … all that was already created by nature. But we manage to do that as well!

In the two-day workshop we built our own B.E.A.M. (Biology-Electronic-Aesthetics-Mechanism)- Robot-Beetle made of mechanical components such as toothbrushes, motors from former mobile phones, mice for computers ect.! We fitted the robots with special skills, they got their own appearance and they competed against each other in the BUG’S BATTLE ARENA. Have a look!
