Für Kinder und Jugendliche haben wir einen neuen eigenen Bereich entwickelt: die GFZK FÜR DICH.
Am 6. Februar 2005 haben wir zusammen mit vielen Kindern und Erwachsenen unsere neuen Räume im ehemaligen Café mit einem großen Erfolg eröffnet.
Die Angebote der Kunstvermittlung werden für Kindergärten und Schulen, für Kinder und Jugendliche sowie für Familien entwickelt. Neben einem festen Kursprogramm gibt es viele offene Angebote, die an die aktuellen Ausstellungen bzw. am jeweiligen Schwerpunkt des Ausstellungsprogramms der GfZK anknüpfen.
Die in der GfZK präsentierten zeitgenössischen künstlerischen Positionen thematisieren aktuelle Entwicklungen unseres Lebens. Dies geschieht oft mit audiovisuellen Medien und Installationen, denen konkrete Alltagssituationen zu Grunde liegen, und korrespondiert direkt mit der Lebenswelt der Kinder und Jugendlichen, die ebenfalls durch eine hohe Präsenz von Medientechnik in unterschiedlichen Formen geprägt ist. Darüber hinaus ergeben sich durch die Aktualität und die Alltagsnähe der Themen weitere Anknüpfungspunkte an das Denken und an die Haltungen von Kindern und Jugendlichen.
Die GFZK FÜR DICH ermöglicht beispielsweise einen gemeinsamen Ausstellungsbesuch, Kinderführungen, die GALERIE FÜR DICH, „Kurse 4 you“ zum gestalterischen Arbeiten mit verschiedenen Themen und Techniken wie Comics, CD-Cover, Postkarten. Es können Bücher hergestellt werden: Geschichten werden geschrieben, mit verschiedenen Techniken illustriert und die Bücher am Ende selbst gebunden. Diese Editionen können dann im Museumsshop gekauft werden. An einem Nachmittag in der Woche haben wir ein offenes Angebot: Am FREITAG können Kinder und Jugendliche lesen, zeichnen, an ihren Ideen arbeiten und Hilfe bei deren Verwirklichung erhalten, reden, etwas trinken und Hilfe für schulische Aufgaben wie Referate und Abiturprüfungen erhalten.
OPENING GFZK FOR YOU
We have developed a new section specifically for children and adolescents: The GFZK FOR YOU. In the former café of the gallery we have successfully opened our new rooms on the 6th of February 2005 together with many children and adults. The range of offerings of the art pedagogics are developed for kindergartens and schools, for children and adolescents as well as for families. Parallel to a constant course catalogue numerous offers are available that tie in with current exhibitions and respectively with the focal point of the exhibition programmes of the GFZK.
The contemporary artistic positions shown in the GFZK broach the issue of topical developments in our life. This is frequently managed by audiovisiual media and installations that are based on practical everyday situations. This corresponds directly with the living environment of the children and adolescents as it is also affected by a strong presence of media technology in miscellanous forming. In addition further links arise to the thinking and mindsets of children and adolescents by the topicality and the closeness to everyday life of the issues.
For instance the GFZK FOR YOU offers a joint visit of the exhibition, a guide tour for children, the courses „Kurse 4 you“ for creative working with different topics and technics such as comics, CD-cover, postcards,… . Books can be fabricated: Stories are written, illustrated with different technics and the books are bound by the children themselves. These editions can be bought in the gift shop of the gallery. One afternoon per week we have the offering FREITAG (Friday) where children and adolescents can come to read, to draw, to work on their ideas and can get support with the realisation as well as they can have a chat, have something to drink and can also get help for homeworks, presentations and exams.
